Caffeine and Pain

Drinking a shot of espresso on the way to the gym may help prevent discomfort and muscle pain, for those who are working out. Caffeine blocks a pain-stimulating chemical called adenosine, and it doesn't seem to be dependent on dose, however, people already drinking substantial amounts of caffeine every day may not experience the same pain-relieving effects.

Even my fitness instructor told me this;I used to get cramps while working out.I started taking coffee before I headed to the gym..It had good results.
