Copperhead

snake in the bush

T There are many serpents here that I have encountered. The latest one is poisonous, a copperhead. The Copperhead is the most common venomous snake found in the eastern US; they are venomous, pit vipers that eat small rodents, birds, lizards, snakes, amphibians, and insects. And even when the head is cut from its body, it could still eject some poisons and they don't die right away. Bites from Copperheads are very seldom fatal; however, a bite may still produce serious consequences.
