Ever green

This was the photo I took today across the creek where we have the clover field to feed the deer in the woods and other wildlife. It's almost barren, except of course of the evergreens and the green and healthy clovers themselves. The good thing during winters is that grasses and weeds don't grow, instead die, so I could not comprehend why my neighbor has been mowing his grass. Our front yard barely have greens left, much less his. Well, I know I wouldn't be cutting grass for sometimes maybe until mid-spring.
