The Application of Physics in Our Daily Lives

The Application of Physics in Our Daily Lives

For some students, Physics is an intimidating subject. Physics, being the science of how things work makes it a diverse and complex subject as it deals with matter, energy, motion and force, their properties and how they interact with each other. We may not realize how much physics is involved in our daily lives, but as parents or teacher, we can make each of our students realize just how much physics is applied daily.

Learning about Physics and acing the exams may be intimidating or even be a bit daunting for students who could be struggling in the subject. Tutorial schools such as Smile Tutor can offer just the right amount of guidance and teaching to help students chase their fears away and be confident in taking up the lessons and exams that comes with it. By visiting their website or sending a physics tutor request at https://smiletutor.sg/physics-tuition/, you get to receive vital information on how we can help you or your child with our tutoring services.

So, how does Physics affect our daily lives?

When you drink a cup of hot coffee, chocolate or tea, we use heat. Heating is increasing the temperature of water, in this case. Heating is used in many industries, such as creating materials from jewelry to tools to big manufacturers creating engines and car parts. In cooking, our food undergoes chemical reactions under heat which is then converted to mechanical energy.

When you make an ice cream, it undergoes what we call a freezing point and demonstrates a wide variety of phenomena. These may include Boyle’s Law, Newton’s Law of Cooling and young’s Modulus. Who knew that a simple ice cream making can involve such Physics?

When you walk or jog, the motion or movement is part of the laws of thermodynamics and mechanics. You don’t slip or fall down because of traction or friction which is the roughness or resistance caused by the road surface and soles of our shoes. If you slip, let’s say because of a wet floor or even a banana peel, you experience reduced friction. The use of brakes also uses friction.

Fruits, such as apples fall from the tree to the ground, and when we jump, we don’t go as high and easily fall back because of the earth’s gravity or gravitational pull that draws us back to the surface. Balloons, however, are lighter than air, and that’s what makes them float.

When we hear the sound of an alarm, listen to music or when we speak, we produce sound properties which are studied in physics. The technological advances we get to enjoy are all designed on the principles of physics such as smartphones, computers, airplanes, televisions and much more. Anything that involves heat, sound, electricity, magnetism etc. are all connected to physics.

There are much more applications of physics in our daily lives than what meets the eye. Like what they always say, this is only the tip of the iceberg. By learning and understanding howPhysics works, you get to understand how the world around us works and answers all the what, why, how where and when.

My Journey to Ailee’s Birth

I am fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work in a hospital where I can avail health benefits as well as my dependents and my parents, without paying a single peso in the bill when discharge. It includes giving birth in the hospital but I decided to have a home birth instead. Some people were asking/questioning me why I decided to do so knowing that I already knew the risks. The following are my own reasons;

First, I am confident enough that my own sister who is a licensed nurse midwife will be the one to assist me in my delivery. A dream come true. She had been assisting thousands of pregnant mothers already here in the Philippines, India, Saudi Arabia, Libya and Africa. She was dealing many  difficult and high risk patients so I guess handling me is just easy for her.

Second, We have also midwife friends who will be assisting too and that gave us more confidence.

Third, I have a complete paraphernalia/things needed for my delivery that includes the newborn care, immunizations and even ambu bag for resuscitation but I never expect it to be used. Ambulance vehicle will be on standby in case of emergency.

Forth, I had a complete prenatal check ups with an OB consultant and in maternity clinic. I made sure that I have normal results in all my labs and ultrasound.  Everything was  normal except for my UTI that it took a while to be treated.

Lastly, The comfort of giving birth at home is amazing There are no restrictions on how family members or friends that can be present. You can eat or drink as you wish prior to delivery. You are able to walk around freely. You can choose the delivery position that's right for you.

Let me share with you my second home-birth experience. I am not encouraging pregnant to do the same. Hospital delivery is  advisable. I will just give you a glimpse of my successful home delivery.

I am on my 38th and 2 days and at around 3 clock in the afternoon I noticed a small bloody show in my undies I immediately told my sister because it signifies that I am in an early stage of labor. To make sure that everything is normal, I went to an Ob-Gyn doctor with my other sister for evaluation and last ultrasound. I was 3-4cm then and everything was normal only my water started to get low and that I should give birth as soon as possible. I started to feel pain but still very tolerable. My sister already prepared  everything and the setting where I will   give birth a week before my big day.
A pose with my sister. Thank you sis for the love and care! 'peace' even though I’m in pain.
I was 4-5cm this time

Such a sweet little Ate, she always hug and kiss my tummy whenever she has a chance.
My sister, my nurse/midwife is always by my side throughout my labor to monitor me and my baby.

I did squatting exercises in our terreace! my kiddos was there for me throughout my labor and delivery.

I do squatting and other exercises in our terrace to help my labor progress faster.

That moment na you're about to give up and become hopeless because of the pain? Pero life must go on! kaya natin to anak! This photo was taken around 11pm and I was 7-8cm. Pain escalated already my scale was 8 from 1-10.

Hallelujah! @ 1:19am October 10, 2017 I gave birth to my third child Ailee Gynelle. The pain during transition was intolerable and unbearable. Thanks God I made it. I only gave my one very strong push and Ailee came out. Just never mind my shout! 'Mura juwg baka! haha

After I got stable, It's time for newborn care and newborn exam. While I was having my rest, Ate did the exam and sole tracing.

Oh she got that one seat apart digits from me! haha

That small wheel completes her BCG immunization.

Ailee's first bath! with the super Ate Gyndy who can't wait to carry her small little sister.

First of all I thank the Lord Almighty for making this birth a successful one. I cannot make it without Him giving me strength and endurance. To my sister, my hero for giving her 100% energy, her tender love and care, her touch soothes the pain and for assuring that everything will be okay. Salamat kaayo te sa memorable experience with you as my nurse midwife and I am the spoiled patient. Thank you also Ate Susan, Ate Elsa and Ate Ermie and Aya for your all out support throughout my pregnancy, labor and delivery.

"There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven-- A time to give birth and a time to die; A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted.…"
 Ecclesiastes 3:1

Pregnancy unusual pain

I am so near to my due date! I am on my 30th weeks of pregnancy. I can feel all the pressure now brought by heavy weight descending baby who is about to come out in 2 months time. I know discomforts that I feel right now is part of pregnancy sacrifices. I just wondered why I feel so much pain on my lower abdomen that runs already on my legs. I can hardly stand up from bed because of the pain sometimes its hard to walk too. Thanks to God that the pain is tolerable though it brought so much disturbance to my daily routine. The pain will escalate if I have a full bladder that is why I pee every time even I don't have the urge to. God please keep me strong for my little one. I know I can make it until the day of my delivery.

Finally decided to buy a car

Sponsored post
Last year when we got a motorcycle accident, that's the time we decided to get a 4wheels vehicles for personal and business use. Thankful to God nothing serious happened to us, only minor bruises and wounds. I feel safe with 4wheels than a motorcycle which it can get crush easily. Before we got an accident we already planned to buy one but remained plan until such happened! At first we really had a hard time deciding what type of car to buy. Hubby suggested a car that we can use everyday and the same time it can be used for business. After a thorough canvass and discussions we end up with a baby truck multi-cab type. It was our first time to have a car! At first we enjoyed riding it but when I got pregnant with the second and now pregnant with our third baby, I got a hard time positioning myself in the front seat with baby and with 6years old eldest when the seat is good only for 2 people. I am not comfortable sitting at the back either. That is why we decided now to have an air conditioned car for our growing family! Though I considered hubby to be good and have broad knowledge about cars and accessories because he started driving at the age of 16 that is why! :) I also do research and ask my friends about their cars for added knowledge and reference. I am glad to have landed at Cars.com for additional and wise tips in buying a car. It is very important to do research and read reviews from other car owner to have a more idea what to do and check before buying. It is also important that the driver also must at least have basic knowledge like how to change a tire, check the machine and other small and basic mechanic. Before this year ends hopefully to have a brand new air conditioned car that we and our kids are praying and wishing for. God willing!

Thank you Lord!

I thanked the Lord always for all the blessings He gave me that includes expected and unexpected blessings! One of the unexpected blessings that I just enjoyed was the check I received from the company I am working! I tried to apply for vacation leave monitization and luckily I was granted with it! I have saved my vacation leave that I have not used so I decided to have it monetized! I am so happy! Now, I won't make many leaves anymore if it is really not necessary knowing that It can be monitized in time. Hopefully nextyear I will apply again if I can have enough vacation leave that left unused! Hubby asked for addition funds for his small business and 3/4 of the total amount will be given to him. I just wish that he will use the money wisely. It is not easy to get it, I work for it, I sacrificed some of my time for it just to supply food on our table and pay our monthly bills. I hope he can give me some returns in the right time.  Being a working mom is not easy especially that I am expecting 6months pregnant with our third baby. I don't have a rights to surrender or give up because I love my family and I will do anything for them. I know It needs for a husband and wife to work together for the family and I appreciate also his effort to help me in our needs. He is a very hardworking dad but he never noticed it that he sometimes forgot to attend his family espcially our kids that need his attention because he is so busy with his small business. I just wish that he could balance everything for us to have a harmonious family relationship. I also prayed that God would help me to be a good mother and wife to him. I accept I also have many lapses but I am trying to give my best for them. I just feel hard now that I am pregnant, I feel so much pain in my lower abdomen but I am used to it. Maybe this is part of my pregnancy but it seems no one understand the pain that I am experiencing. All of them saying its normal but for me I can say it's not. Only God knows!

Best buy

I'm sure our youngest brother will be happy to know about  Guitar Center, bugera 6260 where in he could see a lot of amplifiers for sale online. This is one of his bobbies to collect accessories to his music instruments at home. Online shopping is good because this is where you could find great deals and discount compare to the malls. When he buy he make it sure he will have the best buy experience. Surely recomment this site because it is already tested with time.

How does Marian Rivera make Garantisadong Ginisarap dishes?

Marian Rivera-Dantes is used to playing different characters: Primetime Queen, recording artist, brand ambassador, style icon, and philanthropist. But her favorite roles by far have been those behind the camera: as wife to Dingdong and mom to Baby Zia.

Marian Rivera-Dantes

As a modern homemaker, who manages her time between work and family, Marian has found comfort in cooking as one of the best ways to make her family feel loved and to improve her culinary skills. On her social media pages, the Kapuso actress has posted some of her own culinary creations that range from baby food for little Zia, stews, soups, and veggies. And on days when Marian is short on time, stir-fry dishes have become her go-to choices for easy, yummy meals.

Topping her stir-fry list are Chopsuey and Fried Rice made with AJI-GINISA® Flavor Seasoning Mix, as seen in the seasoning’s two new TVCs which began airing last June 4, 2017. In both versions, Marian dances and sings to the tune of her hit song, “Sabay-sabay Tayo,’ while she adds AJI-GINISA® to each dish to make them more delicious and “Garantisadong Ginisarap.”

Like Marian, you can also whip up “Garantisadong Ginisarap” dishes – even non-vegetable ones – by adding a touch of AJI-GINISA® to your favorite stir-fry recipes.

Increasing evidence supports the notion that what we eat affects how we feel and even whether we live a long, healthy life. More often debated are the roles played by specific foods. Sure we may all get a kick out of reading that we're due for a windfall, but some people can't take the stars too seriously. Who is apt to get addicted to looking at horoscopes? Lets lose weight

One of the most important ways to preserve good health is to control your weight. By losing pounds, overweight people can reduce their risk of type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and coronary heart disease (CHD) which are all traitor diseases. Losing weight may lower levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, which is often referred to as "bad" cholesterol. Losing weight can also lower levels of triglycerides and even increase high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, referred to as "good" cholesterol. In addition, weight loss can help reduce the risk of gallbladder disease and reduces stress on the back, hips, and knees, thus not aggravate arthritis. On the other side, it also boosts ones confidence by having a good and healthy shape. In theory, weight control is a simple matter of balancing energy intake (the calories supplied by food) with energy output (the calories expended by physical activity and metabolism). To lose weight, you need to expend more energy than you take in, more exercises and workouts. In practice, however, the task is clearly not that simple. While the basic principle of energy balance remains true, several mechanisms--genetic, metabolic, and environmental--control how much you eat and how your body uses and stores energy.

Benifits of Nutri10 supplement

I got a lot of advices and suggestion about what is the best vitamins supplement for my eldest daughhter who will be turning 7 this coming August. But it seems nothing changes about her super thin body figure! She dont have an appetite to eat. She only select what she eats and that gives me a heavy heart. Even how I tried in my own way, sometimes I prepare a guava stem or a belt beside me when its eating time. But I am tired doing this I want a vitamins that would boast her appetite. Sweet relief

Sugar reduces the body's level of stress hormones known as glucocorticoids. So when under stress, eating sweets may help to relief distress. But I’m not saying that we should eat lots of junk food. Eating fruit rather than candy might produce this effect as well, and even emulates it, for it is naturally healthy.

Speed healing of surgery patients

We are not sure who is all natural or has undergone surgeries to change their bodies. For those attempting to go under the scalpel, here is one tip for faster healing. A worldwide review by the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation of the folk remedy bromelain, a compound of enzymes found in pineapples, considered by FDA as a safe food additive, will speed healing of many surgery patients, the supplements taken after surgery can reduce swelling, inflammation, and pain somewhat, as well as increase the effectiveness of antibiotics. But if combined with aspirin (or the many medications that contain it), it could increase the existing risk of postsurgical bleeding, and at high doses cause gastrointestinal problems, rashes, headaches, asthma, and allergic reactions.

Enhancing the beauty in you

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine.

I've been working in a government for 4years now and in my four years of service as a frontliner in receiving patient's requirements for health insurance I have witnessed, listened and felt every patient's and family's emotion during hospitalization and the diseases they are suffering. Even though there were times when I feel insulted, shouted by them but I always tried to understand them and not reacting the same feeling in return. It is still not easy to be in a hospital for treatment and other medical interventions. Some of my client are cancer patients and we all know that cancer meds can make or sometimes make patient's hair fall and this will make patient's confidence low. But now I finally found the site that would help my patients problem with hair loss even though it is only temporary while they are on medication, the Divatress site that offers thousands of wig and other beauty care products.
I find it very helpful in deciding what wig, color and design that would perfectly fit for them to be looking good despites of the discomforts they are experiencing. Our hair can really affects how we look and they said it's a crowing glory for each individuals. Problem with split, damaged and dry curly hair is not a problem anymore! Just a wear of a wig and your will be looking good depending to what type of hair you are using.

International Classification of Diseases (ICD)Training for Coders!

I am loving and enjoying my work now but I do not limit to that point only. I always love to grab any opportunity that would enhance professional growth. I decided to go on training! Though the training fee is high but I never mind it as long I will have knowledge on that particular training. By my own expense I pursue my desire to be one of the International Classification of the Disease (ICD-10) coding Training for clinical coders. The training is sounds very interesting to me though I have a little backgraound about it but I want to know more deeper. Despites of the feelings that I have been experiencing these days brougth by my early pregnancy like being nauseous, hyperacidity, dizzeness, lack of sleep or inability to sleep my normal  sleep pattern, I survived the 5days hard but full of learning experiences. As what I have been expecting that this is not just a simple training but one need to take it very seriously because to be a good coder you need to be very careful, keen observer, and has a background about anatomy and physiology of human body. It helps a lot. I think that is my edge to my other co-trainees though half of the group is in medical field already.

We just had our Graduation ceremony and giving of certificates. To to my surprise, I was awarded as top achiever of the group. I just can't believe it, for me this is already an achievement! To be Included in the top 10 among 39 aspiring clinical coders. Hooray! I think I deserved it! I studied a lot and aiming to get the bacon home..haha! I am also sad in the same time because there were trainees that never went through or in other words failed the training! I know how they feel being the one sent by their employers for free but expecting a lot from them in return. Some said that they signed a contract that if they failed they will pay half of the training fee. Huhu! To sum up my experiences during the training was very fulfilling and had fun in the same time. Gain new friends and create good teamwork. Congratulations to all of Feb 27- Mar 3, 2017 batch trainees of ICD tenth edition training for coders.

Kim Kardashian West Visits Doctor To Have Stretch Marks Removed

Well, that's one way to do it! Kim Kardashian West visited her cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Ourian, on Sunday, February 19, in order to have her stretch marks removed, a week after she visited the same doctor to have her belly button tightened. Kim was photographed leaving Epione Beverly Hills on Sunday, wearing a baggy black hoodie, black leggings, and white tennis shoes. She later went on SnapChat to explain the visit to her followers. She expressed her love for the cosmetic surgeon, and went on to say that she had been so nervous to visit him to work on her stretch marks, but now she was very excited to get it done.

This news comes one week after Kim posted another SnapChat video from Dr. Ourian's office, where she went to have her belly button tightened. In the video, she explains that having two kids has really wreaked havoc on her belly button, and that she was seeing the doctor to help tighten the skin around the belly button to help it to look normal again. Epione Bevery Hills, the cosmetic surgery office that Dr. Simon Ourian founded, has been a celeb favorite for years, and has been especially popular with the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Last year, Khloe Kardashian posted a glowing testimonial for the doctor on her website. We are excited to see what Kim will do next to get her post baby body back in shape!

Triple blessing:)

Honestly, I dont know how to react when I knew I am pregnant again for the third time knowing that my baby is just 9months old, God can't believed she's an ate (big sister) already! But I must think that  this is a blessing, though it was not planned but not unwanted one! Yes, there are a lot of couple who prayed, wished to have a baby but never been granted so I think I am just so lucky enough for the chance of bearing a child, in the fact that I have a thyroid problem. My Ob-gyn doctor once told me that having heperthyroid is very hard to get pregnant and she said I am So blessed to get pregnant this easy! I am so thankful enough to the author and creator of this developing embryo inside me! This is a living proof that God is indeed very powerful and I cannot fattom! I hope it's a boy this time! I have 2 beautiful girls already!
