Beauty, a 7-year-old bald eagle, has been unable to eat or drink normally since her beak was shot off several years ago. But her caretakers hope that is about to change. They plan to glue a fake beak to the ragged stub left by the bullet. Beauty still won't be able to live in the wild, but the prosthesis could add years to her life. Poor eagle it must be very hard for her to live a normal life with her beak is disfigured. I hope the prosthesis will be successful.
