Bright eyes

116 (): Bright

This is one of those I won't forget about during our travels in India. The boy's bright-eyed expression is so nostalgic to me, of childhood. See how special he is:

Mothers' day gifts

102 (12): Mother's day

YYesterday I made this this one for my mother-in-law. I gave it to her already along with some of my sweet leche flan and an orchid corsage. They were two days early because we will be busy today and she might not be able to wear the corsage in church Sunday morning. She was so happy with the picture and liked it, so I guess it is not so bad, overall, this is just my third digital scrapbooking work in one year, toink.

Wildlife and game hunting

photohunt 105: Twist(ed) - Wildly twisted

I did not find any more related photos in my files so I took these picture today for my "twisted" entry. The horns are obviously twisted, the natural way :-) These and some other horned company are hung on our game room, hubby's collection of his wildlife and game hunting.

Typical Party

PhotoHunt 99: Party

Food is indespensible in every gathering. This is a typical Filipino party wherein roasted pig is the main dish. This was taken during our beach party on one of my Fiancé's (then) visit to the Philippines.

PhotoHunt 98: Wooden

Here is my entry for this week for "wooden" photo scavenger. This is hubby's favorite wooden massager, originally four-fingered, now I got a new one, six-fingered massager. It feels good on his muscles.

You are right. It is a duck.

This is a gift made in Indonesia from our missionary to Papua New Guinea. I think it is a wonderful work of art. A duck made from tree roots and wood.

By the way, on the background is a wooden mermaid.

Photohunt: Paper

My for this week's Paper theme:
Our wedding invitations that I and my sister made.
In the next weeks, they will be one year old.
It means our wedding anniversary is approaching!!
:-)

PhotoHunt: Plastic

I missed photo scavenger last week. This week's photohunt theme is plastic. This is me and hubby's friend's Indian driver who volunteered to tour me around the big city of Mumbai last year. That time we were boating in a lake, in blue plastic paddle boat.
